Tour Descriptions

This safari focuses on Tanzania’s iconic wildlife destinations: the Serengeti, famous for its vast plains and the Great Migration, and Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its dense wildlife population.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport.
Transfer to a hotel in Arusha for overnight rest.
Optional city tour or relaxation at the lodge.

Day 2: Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Morning flight or drive to Serengeti National Park.
Game drive en route to your lodge, spotting wildlife along the way.
Overnight at a lodge/tented camp in central Serengeti.

Day 3: Full Day Serengeti Safari

Spend the day exploring the Serengeti plains, home to the “Big Five” (lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, and rhinos) and the annual Great Migration (depending on the season).
Picnic lunch in the wilderness.
Evening game drive before heading back to your camp for overnight.

Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

Early morning game drive before departing for Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Optional stop at Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important paleoanthropological sites.
Arrive at the crater rim for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater Exploration

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game drive.
Enjoy spotting wildlife, including rhinos, lions, and flamingos around the lake.
Picnic lunch at the crater floor.
Overnight at the crater rim.

Day 6: Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara National Park

Depart for Lake Manyara National Park, known for its tree-climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos.
Half-day game drive in the park.
Optional visit to a Maasai village.
Overnight near the park.

Day 7: Return to Arusha & Departure

Morning drive back to Arusha.
Depending on your flight schedule, visit local markets or relax before transfer to the airport for departure.
